Frequently asked questions

What time are we able to arrive?

We ask that you arrive after 15:00 to allow us to prepare your cottage for you and we request that you depart from your stay on the final day by 10:00 to allow us to prepare for the next guests stay.

Are the cottages suitable all year round.

Our cottages are suitable for year-round stays, all have wood burners . Enjoy a cosy evening by the wood burner after a refreshing country walk.

Do the cottages have a garden?

The cottages share a paddock/garden a short walk from each cottage, with an array of garden furniture, shared BBQ’s and, in our opinion, the most amazing views and sunsets you’ll enjoy.

Do you supply logs for the wood burner?

We provide some logs for you alongside matches and firelighters, giving you everything you need for a cosy first night here in Rosedale. Next door to Valencourt is our log shed, where additional nets are available to purchase.

Do you supply towels?

Yes we supply a bath towels, hand towels and bath mats. However, please bring along any towels you will require for days out to the beach or for your pet

Do you provide high chairs and travel cots?

We do have high chairs and travel cots available, please request them in advance as numbers are limited. Please note that bedding is not supplied with travel cots. 

Is there a fridge? 

Yes, within each cottage there is a small under counter fridge containing a small ice compartment.

Do you supply basics?

Yes, upon arrival you will find a welcome pack within your cottage containing tea, coffee and biscuits for you to enjoy upon starting you holiday with us. Also within the cottage, you will find tea towels, oven cloths, washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet rolls.

Is there a hair dryer?

Yes, each cottage has a hair dryer.

Do you have Wifi?

Yes, each cottage has free WIFI.

Do supermarkets deliver?

Yes most of the large supermarkets deliver to Craven Garth Cottages.

Do the cottages accept Pets?

Yes we accept pets to the cottages.  Up to 2 dogs stay free of charge when you book directly, please inform us that they will be joining you on your holiday.

Do you have EV charging points?

Currently we do not have EV charging points. This is something that we are very much looking into and will post an update on our main website when we have these available. Please bear with us.
